Pushift Privacy Policy
Pushift is a push-up counter for iPhone made by Artur Danilkin (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
Summary
Pushift does not collect your data. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking, and it does not send anything to our servers. Everything the app stores stays on your iPhone.
Camera
Pushift uses the front camera to count push-ups. The app analyzes camera frames on your iPhone with Apple’s on-device Vision framework. Frames are not stored or sent anywhere unless you turn on video recording.
Set videos
Video recording is off by default. If you turn it on, Pushift records videos of your sets without sound and stores them in the app’s private storage on your iPhone. You can delete one video, all videos, or a whole workout in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes them as well.
Like other app data, these videos may be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), depending on your backup settings. Such backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account, not by us.
A video leaves the app only when you choose to share it or save it to Photos through the system share sheet. Pushift asks for permission only to add videos to your photo library; it cannot read your photos.
Workout data
Your goal, workouts, sets, and repetition counts are stored on your iPhone. We do not receive them.
Purchases
Pushift includes a one-time in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment details or Apple Account information. The app checks with the App Store whether the purchase is active on your device.
To apply the free workout allowance, Pushift keeps a list of anonymous identifiers of completed free workouts in the iPhone Keychain and in the app’s settings on your device. This list may remain on the device after you delete the app. It is never sent to us.
Children
Pushift does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
